Breast enlargement is one of the most common forms of cosmetic surgery in the world. There are more options than implants on the market as well. There is more to a breast than its size, and women who are perfectly happy with their cup size may be unhappy with their shape or the placement of their nipples. Everything can be changed and shifted. It isn't all about being big.
When most people think of a "boob job" they think of breast implants, and this generally brings up visions of water balloons being stuffed into the mammary glands. There are a wide variety of implants available though. They are filled with silicone or saline, and come in round and teardrop shapes. The shape that works will be determined by where you're starting from and the destination that you have in mind for your body.
Silicone implants tend to look fuller and maintain their shape better. Saline implants won't cause any problems if they happen to leak.
If you're happy with your size and just need some shaping, there are options for that as well. Breast augmentation doesn't stop at implants and reductions. They can be brought in, hoisted up and generally put exactly where they need to be.
A breast uplift can help bring shape and fullness, as well as repositioning where the nipple points. This kind of procedure can be used to correct sagging brought on by time, or a natural lack of perkiness. The recovery for an uplift is much quicker than with implants as well, and the effects last for years.
Obviously all of this costs money. The usualĀ breast enlargement cost, using implants, is between 3,400 and 5,000 pounds. This takes into account the surgery itself, and some of the drugs and recovery time. The implants themselves should last around ten years before they need to be replaced or touched up.
